The son of a dentist, Dr. Peter Rubenstein grew up in the Northeastern United States and moved to Florida while in college. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of South Florida and his D.M.D. degree from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. He was active in the U.S. Air Force for a total of 9 years, during which he received Advanced Education in General Dentistry while attending a U.S. Air Force residency program. Dr. Rubenstein owned a successful dental practice in Sarasota, Florida, for over 10 years. Having spent 6 years of his time in the Air Force stationed at Travis AFB, Dr. Rubenstein returned to California from Florida in pursuit of cooler weather and a wider variety of outdoor activities.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Association, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. Dr. Rubenstein enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He likes SCUBA diving, hiking, and mountain biking in his spare time. He has volunteered many hours for Dentistry from the Heart, an organization that provides free dentistry to people in need.
